Detox your hair in 5 simple steps

As you have to clean your body of toxins, the hair needs a course of purification too. See how easy it is to do. Maybe you do not realize, but a shampoo and conditioner that you apply daily on your hair are not exactly harmless, according to some specialists. If you look on the label, you’ll see that these products contain many hazardous substances. Shampoo ingredients and conditioner not only removes your natural oils from your hair, but it can impair your health.

If your hair is clean of toxins, you will see that it will remain brighter and healthier than after using commercially available products. Natural oils will no longer be produced in excess and you will not be forced to wash your hair daily.

The first week will be harder for your hair because switching from a commercial shampoo to a natural one is not so easy. You’ll notice that it will be oilier than usual, but after a few days, oil production will be balanced. If you resist without using shampoo, you’ll know it was worth the wait.

First step. Detoxifying shampoo made by you! When hair deteriorates, it falls or does not look as good in terms of aesthetics. To get rid of all the problems caused by external factors and help it to repair and grow back quickly, use the shampoo below that you need to prepare yourself.

Ingredients needed:

-Nettle shampoo – 750 ml
-Panthenol – 100 ml
-Nettle extract – 30 ml
-Castor oil – 50 ml
-2 bottles of vitamin B.

Mix all these ingredients. Nettle shampoo you can find in any store, and the remaining ingredients you find in a bio store or at the pharmacy.

Another option would be: To obtain other natural detoxifying natural shampoo, you need:

-½ cup liquid soap made from olive oil
-2 teaspoons of baking soda
-½ teaspoon of vitamin E oil
Combine all ingredients in a container of shampoo and shake them well.
To give your hair the spark it needs, prepare yourself a natural conditioner. You need:
-A cup of hot distilled water
-A teaspoon of vinegar
-¼ teaspoon of jojoba oil
Add all ingredients into an empty bottle of shampoo or conditioner and mix them well. If you want, you can keep the solution in a spray bottle. Both products can be used two weeks.
Recipe of shampoo that detoxifies all hair types:
-1 cup distilled water
-3 tablespoons rosemary
-1 tablespoon lemon grass
-2 teaspoons tea tree oil
-½ teaspoon vanilla extract
-¼ cup of liquid soap based on vegetable oil

Heat water in a container until seething. Put rosemary and lemongrass in a colander. Put the herbs in a thermos and pour water over them, then toss. Cover the pot, leaving the plants inside there and let the mixture for 20-30 minutes. After removing the plants, mix the liquid with tea tree oil and vanilla. Then add liquid soap and stir until completely dissolved. Keep in mind that the mixture contains water, oil, and soap and therefore it is quite difficult to mix. Finally, store it in a tightly closed container.

For another recipe that will detoxify and love your hair you need coconut milk ( a quarter cup ), liquid organic Castilla soap ( third cup ), 20 drops of essential oil ( your choice of lavender or rosemary or orange ), and if you have dry hair, you can add half a tablespoon of olive oil or almond oil. All these ingredients should be put in a container, preferably one where you had shampoo before, with or without a pump, and mix them well. Keep them for a month and shake well before each use. Use the equivalent of tablespoons ( 15-17 mL ) at each washing.

These recipes are based on an affordable ingredient – egg. The first recipe is simple: mix two or three eggs, depending on your hair length. Wash your hair with this mixture as you would use a normal shampoo. Then use a conditioner to remove the smell of egg from your hair. As with the shampoo, conditioner can be made at home using the following recipe: two tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice, a liter of water and three drops of aromatic oil. Mix and rinse your hair after you wash it with the natural shampoo above. The hair will become brighter and will grow healthier.

Another recipe for homemade shampoo consists of a mixture of two eggs, two tablespoons of lemon juice, a tablespoon of honey and three drops of olive oil. After use, rinse with water. This type of shampoo nourishes and softens the hair and is suitable for all hair types.

The last recipe is based on baking powder. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with the yolk from three eggs and use the composition as a normal shampoo, and rinse thoroughly with water. A shampoo with baking powder in composition cleanses very well the hair and removes the excess of sebum. However, it is not recommended to use it more than twice a month and it is, therefore, advisable to alternate with another shampoo.

Step two! Detoxifying homemade masks!

Deficiencies of vitamins and minerals in the body, hormonal imbalances and stress are just three of the main causes of the slowdown and hair loss. The good news is that there are several masks who can help detoxify and to accelerate hair growth.

Prepare a few of these masks even at home. Here’s how:

1. Mask with castor oil and avocado
Castor oil is an excellent remedy for both hair growth and for strengthening it. With a high concentration of vitamins and minerals, castor oil every time proves effective in regenerating hair. For this treatment you need:
– ½ cup castor oil( or more if you have longer hair)
– 1 avocado

Mash the avocado and mix it well with castor oil. Leave the mask to act for two or three hours, then remove it with warm water.

2. Mask with apple vinegar
Apple cider vinegar balances the pH level of the scalp, stimulating hair growth. Even if it hasn’t a very pleasant smell, it is advisable to use this treatment 2-3 times a week, after shampooing.
– 1 cup apple cider vinegar
– 2 cups water

3. Masks with egg yolk and olive oil
This is perhaps the best known and most used treatment for hair growth. It is also very effective because it gives the hair a generous amount of essential fatty acids, vitamins( A, E, D), minerals and proteins. To prepare this mask you need:
– 2 yolks
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– ½ cup water
Treatment is removed with warm water after 2-3 hours.

4. Mask made from beer
Beer is not only incredibly refreshing in the summer, but is also very effective for hair growth. Beer contains vitamin B8, also known as biotin. It strengthens the hair and stimulates the regeneration of the structure, leading to accelerating the growth of the hair. Treatment is made from:
– Half a glass of beer
– 1 average banana mashed well
– 1 tablespoon of honey
– 2 yolks
After mixing the ingredients and apply treatment for hair growth, you can remove it over two hours.

5. Mask with onion juice
Although it sounds strange, onion juice is a true wonder for the hair. It is made from:
– ½ cup onion juice
– 1 tablespoon of honey
For more effective results, onion juice can be left on all night. The next day you just have to rinse your hair and shampoo it as usual.

Step three! Foods for healthy hair. Meat, fish, lentils, soy, and yeast contain large quantities of sulfur amino acids – methionine and cysteine – required for the hair. Because raw material that forms the structure of hair is a protein called keratin, it should be consumed in foods that provide the body sufficient elements to produce it so that the hair is healthy, according to famous researchers.

And trace elements are necessary for the maintenance of the hair, such as iron, zinc and magnesium. The iron in meat and fish is absorbed better in the body than that from plants and dairy.

Vitamin C helps in the absorption of iron, while coffee and tea, does not. Iron is found in spirulina, shellfish, egg yolks, parsley, cocoa, grains, lentils. Zinc is an essential trace element that doesn’t miss from protein synthesis. He is to be found in oysters, shellfish, egg yolks, wheat germ, lentils, beans, and peas. Magnesium is important, being an element of natural regulation of the nervous system, knowing that stress has a direct impact on the quality of hair. Scallops, herring, shrimp, cocoa, almonds, soy, whole grains, bananas and spinach contain large amounts of magnesium. B vitamins are vitamins for the hair. Vitamin B3 increases circulation to the hair roots and B5 increases the speed of growth.

Vitamin B6 is essential to keratinization that allows thickening of hair and B8 controls the secretion of sebum. Vitamin B3 is found in large quantities in canned tuna and mackerel from the chicken and veal, grain, mushrooms, rice, almonds and soy, and vitamin B5 in lentils, turkey, mushrooms and soy. In herring, cereals, spinach, and bananas are vitamin B6, and cauliflower, lentils, mushrooms, eggs and chicks, vitamin B8.

Hair quality depends not only on proper food intake but also to avoid those which do not do any good. Sugar, for example, will interfere with the absorption of certain proteins and vitamins, and alcohol reduces the absorption of zinc and vitamins B and C. Additionally, unhealthy diets produce a lot of toxins that focuses in the scalp and alter the quality of hair. Here’s what you should eat to have healthier hair:

1. Salmon
There is a definite reason I put salmon on top of this hierarchy! Of all the foods on this list, salmon has the strongest effect when it comes to your appearance. It is full of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, iron and vitamin B-12. This means that salmon will add shine, will prevent dry scalp and improve hair growth. This fish is delicious miracle food for your hair!

2. Eggs
One of the most versatile foods on our list, the egg can be introduced in many ways in your daily diet to have healthy hair. Eggs contain high amounts of biotin, a B vitamin essential for healthy scalp and hair growth. Eggs are also rich in iron, which carries oxygen to the capillary follicles. Eat eggs for breakfast twice a week and you’ll soon have an even richer and more powerful hair.

3. Nuts
Almonds, peanuts, cashew nuts, and nuts contain zinc, which reduces hair loss. Walnuts contain also many Omega-3 fatty acids, which catalyzes the richness and brilliance of your hair. Always take with you a bag of nuts for a light snack, which will lead you to a healthy hair!

Step Four! Hair massage detoxifies!

Massage for your scalp, pampering for your hair. Scalp massage is a real treat for your hair and an effective method. Therefore, many spas introduce it in their ritual dedicated to the hair. This type of massage has nothing in common with what you’re doing when you apply shampoo but is a completely different thing.

Scalp massage relaxes and enlightens. Scalp massage involves relaxation of the scalp. Frequently assaulted by combing, styling products, cigarette smoke and hats, the scalp may become sensitive, irritated and will lack suppleness. Just like the rest of the skin, the scalp can give no signs of dehydration that won’t delay you feeling them. Scalp massage is primarily designed to activate microcirculation in the scalp, making hair shiny and silky. On an oxygenated scalp, hair feels better and hairdressing becomes easier.

Principles of scalp massage. The scalp is irrigated by blood vessels and the massage activates the microcirculation and facilitates access of nutrients to the hair root. This will give you a strong hair full of shine and you will not face with its loss anymore. Scalp massage is done with essential oils and it is especially relaxing.

7 essential steps for a professional scalp massage

A professional massage scalp is complex and lasts about 10-20 minutes. Experts say that it must contain seven essential steps: running the neck, concentric rotations, massage on the side, bites, vibration and drainage. Every movement causes an influx of blood to the scalp, relaxes and stimulates the epidermis.

Gymnastics of the hair. Like any other part of your body, your hair needs to be in full gymnastics shape. This technique has the same effect as a scalp massage and comes from Japan. It is advisable to do it once a day for dry hair, 3 times per week for normal hair and 2 times per week, before washing, for oily hair. If you have that kind of hair you have to be careful because massage can irritate sebaceous glands and aggravate seborrheic hypersecretion. Therefore, it is advisable to seek the services of a professional.

Massaging the scalp at home. Even if it is more pleasant to stay relaxed and anyone else to massage your scalp, you can do this at home.

After a busy day, brush your hair gently with a soft brush and with lessen teeth and touch the scalp. Then massage your scalp with fingertips. You need to do two simple movements: walking your fingers from the neck to the head and then the opposite route, from forehead to her neck. The massage should be done twice a week for 5-10 minutes before you wash your hair. You can then apply a product for peeling the capillary. It will get rid of dandruff and it will bleach hair, helping to stimulate microcirculation. In general, these products are based on salt or clay. After applying it, massage your scalp, then rinse hair with warm water. Complete with a shampoo, chosen according to your hair type and its needs.

Step five, Properly wash your hair !

Hairdressing or not, properly washed hair looks nice and it looks detoxified and has a touch of a freshness image. At a first impression, nothing new until now. Washing hair is a trivial operation that we do since childhood. Is there any detail about this procedure that you do not already know? Maybe not, but today there are people who take care and wash their hair wrongly. Neither today, many of us have not given up misconceptions related to frequent washing of hair. Between washing hair and hair well washed there are noticeable differences. In addition, proper washing of hair is intended to highlight the color, brightness and texture of the hair. We remind you some tips so simple but useful that are related to the maintenance that you should use:

Scalp health is extremely important for the health of hair especially because not your hair, but your scalp is loaded with sebum and impurities and not the hair. Therefore, washing the scalp is probably the most important stage of washing hair. The shampoo is applied with fingertips and not with your fingernails to not hurt the scalp, which is extremely delicate. After shampooing the scalp use fingertips to gently massage, which has a role in regenerating the hair, then apply shampoo all along the hair.

The water that you use for washing your hair must be warm and have no more and no less than 37 degrees Celsius. A high water temperature speeds up deterioration and degradation of the hair. For extra shine and to prevent frizz hair, it must be rinsed with warm water and then with cold water ( attention, not very cold !!! ) to foster closing of pores. Hot water opens the pores of the hair, while it closes at cold. In summer especially, the most exposed areas are sweating at the back or behind the ear. Shampoo well and rinse thoroughly these areas. For rinsing the hair with running water, rinsing of the hair should be allowed to flow from the roots to the ends, keeping hair leaned forward, everything from roots to ends, but leaving, this time, the head back. Revitalizing effect it has on hair rinsing the hair with carbonated mineral water.

On the market, there is a wide range of products for washing and care for the hair, but obviously, you have to choose the right type of hair that you have. Shampoos, conditioners and hair masks are designed to remove impurities, but also to restore hair to its natural suppleness and elasticity. It is a mistake to use a dedicated shampoo for dry hair if your hair tends to be oily. Ingredients of shampoos differ and what’s better for a particular type of hair can damage other types of hair. In any case, opt for the ones with natural ingredients over those with chemical ingredients. Choose shampoos that do not grease the hair excessively, thus preventing the secretion of natural oils of the hair. Hair conditioner is never applied to the hair root, but starting from the ear down. After applying the balm, before leaving it to act, spread it evenly and easily passing through hair a comb with rare teeth.

Regardless of your type of hair, if you want a healthier hair, keep in mind the following aspects:

Have a balanced diet, rich in silicates ( potato, red pepper, beans and cucumber ), calcium ( dairy, cereals, eggs, raisins ) and iron ( liver and other organs ); How to wash your hair: keep in mind the type of hair, but always use lukewarm water and rinse thoroughly wash at the end; How to brush your hair: always comb your hair before brushing it; use a large comb and a brush of wood; only brush dry hair; How to dry your hair: try to use as little hairdryer, because the strong heat tends to destroy and dehydrate hair.

Quality hair dryers advantage is that it has systems that control heat and power required for quick drying hair. If you ever choose a quality hair dryer to save precious time after the morning shower, now you will understand that they have been designed to limit exposure of the hair to heat.

Cheapest hair dryers can cause overheating and damage the hair undergirding the cuticular layer ( outside ) of the hair. Not having the same power as the qualitative ones, involves a more lasting heat released by them, which will cause damage to your hair.
